about me
I was born in Sri Lanka to Peace Corps parents, and from that beginning I have lived in a number of countries and continue to travel and explore other cultures. I studied religion, culture and politics as an undergraduate and in graduate school both in the United States and in Europe, worked at The White House and have worked and taught in the field of visual communications for ten years.
Now, I am lucky enough to be an award-winning, Denver-based, professional fine art, travel, fashion and people photographer working nationally and internationally, offering creative, high quality commercial, assignment and stock photography worldwide. My work is currently seen in magazines, on websites, and in commercial buildings as well as fine homes. I strive to consistently produce the highest quality still and motion images for advertising and commercial clients as well as fine art photography collectors.
As a private pilot with access to a small plane, I am also available for shoots on location throughout the Rocky Mountain area on very short notice. I travel extensively, much of it in remote areas in Asia, Eastern Europe, etc., and I am available for on-location shooting anywhere in the world.

about my studio
I am also the owner of photospace, the premier workspace for professional photography in Denver, Colorado. The studio is a perfect place to shoot: 2300 sq ft (1900 sq ft shooting space) centrally located close to downtown in Denver's Santa Fe Art District. photospace is comfortable, clean, and spacious, with all the latest photographic technology available, including a huge cyc wall with multiple backdrops including a 24'x12' chroma-key backdrop.
The space also includes bathroom and changing room, daylight-balanced make-up stand, private wi-fi net access, indoor and outdoor parking, loading deck, black-out and natural lighting options, client lounge, fully equipped kitchen, waiting area, collectors edition photo bookstore, full Profoto lighting and state-of-the-art grip equipment along with medium-format and 35mm digital cameras and a wide assortment of lenses.
